Good Morning and Happy New Year!!
We have had several residents inquire about the basketball hoop replacement at the main park that was vandalized. A new one was ordered right away. It had to be special ordered, no one locally had one. It is a special cast aluminum backboard. As soon as it arrives, it will be installed.
In addition to replacing the bbackboard, we will be replacing the vandalized picnic area roof at the Monterey Park this month.
If you see anyone hanging out in the park areas and you feel they do not belong, please contact the Mesa Police.
